Hey you, God.Dear God,

It clicked.

And I admit I didn't get it immediately when it was introduced. But when you applied the lesson, I traced back to the source. I feel conned. You give me what I want with unwritten fine-print that goes in effect at the most inconvenient of times.

I want to talk to you about timing.It's obvious this was intentional; the day after, when you know I'm at my worst, having flung myself against your brick wall with the greatest intensity. Two eyeglasses cases!

I made the right one mostly because I wanted to use up that wretched bright red yarn. Too scratchy and BRIGHT to do anyone any good- unless their fumbling around without their glasses!

The blue one was an experiment. I learned how to knit garter stitch in such a way to make it sideways, and I had to check it out! That's one fabric folded you see there- the only sewing was the dark blue. I altered the sideways with the regular, and voila, checkers.

Both were made on size six needles... and I think the blue yarn is Patons. Not completely sure, though. The red one was inherited without any tags.

Well, usually they turn into gifts. I would like to sell some of my products (or do commissions) but I'm not sure quite how to deal with anything other than cash.

I'll sell the glasses case(s)! No problem there!
That said, I prefer commissions. That's when I make it to cater to specific instructions- color, etc. It means less decision making on my part.
